Gala Group Ltd commissioned L&H Solutions to manage, coordinate and lead the design team in the two-phase refurbishment of their existing casino club at Baker Street, London.

The works encompassed the stripping out of the former Oasis room casino facility within the Barracuda Casino, complete waterproof tanking installation to the basement area, creating an exclusive casino facility for 'high rollers': the facility provides Internet access, and consists of roulette, blackjack, poker etc. as well as new electronic gaming systems developed by Gala.

Works also included replacement of specialist tables, seating, new ceilings, wall treatment and flooring finishes throughout, revamp of all associated services and decorative refurbishment to the entire public areas of the club to a very high standard.

The brief required that the casino remained operational during the works, with all the inherent disruption and security issues that this entailed. This challenging project was successfully delivered on time and within budget.
