Conversions
Lewis & Hickey were commissioned to convert this Grade 1 listed Jacobean manor house into 11 luxury apartments with the addition of 7 new build houses. The former manor house was the home of Sir Lister Holte, the designer and builder responsible for Aston Hall in Birmingham. L&H were commissioned to provide luxury apartments and new housing on the estate. The apartments had to be fitted into the existing fabric of the building as English Heritage would not allow removal of exisiting walls. To provide additional accommodation at the lower levels we were successful in negotiating a series of glazed conservatory structures which had to be detailed for future removal.
