Of
the millions of people on the planet, no two individuals are the same.
Education
(formal or otherwise) plays a critical part in forming an individual's
identity. It is important
therefore, that education
establishments offer the correct environment to encourage learning.
At all levels from nursery to primary, secondary to tertiary, Educational Architecture needs to provide a mix of practical, functional facilities and inspirational settings. From library resource centres and laboratories for the more mature student through to exploratory play areas in nurserys and creches for the ‘less’ mature student, the individual learning experience should nevertheless be paramount. At Lewis & Hickey we blend the inspirational with the functional to ensure that the environment for learning is the positive experience it should be. |
