L&H worked very closely with English Heritage to extend this Grade 2 listed house. The design fully integrates the ethereal quality of the architectural space with the dynamic features of the fixtures and fittings, internal circulation, focal points, inter-relationship with the garden and the wide range of uses that the space has to satisfy. Careful consideration of materials, form and lighting combine to great effect along with the necessary functionality of the overall concept.

The overall solution was praised by English Heritage for being a sensitive and finely detailed addition.
