New Build

The building was designed initially as a 8,000m2 speculative office and warehouse headquarters building in this highly visible and developing area of Prague. L&H completed the internal design and fit out when the lease was signed mid-way through construction and took on board several occupier design changes as the work progressed. The initial speculative design proved very adaptable to the revised specifications and allowed for the high performance services installation required.

The main 4-storey office area has a central open courtyard with fountain that is designed to allow natural cross ventilation and cooling to the offices. The south facing fully glazed facades incorporate a brise soleil and suspended gantry system for cleaning the glass. Underground car parking is provided using the slope of the site. The glazed stair towers are designed as lighting beacons to signal the building to the passing main road into Prague. The upper office floors have terraces giving views out to the city beyond.

Designed for Volkswagen/Skoda to be used as offices and showrooms.
