Nick Riley, Board Director of Lewis and Hickey, has been confirmed as one of the speakers at the forthcoming national student housing conference in London next week, organised by LD Events. Nick will be delivering a talk as part of a Panel session focused on Design and Innovation.
The annual conference attracts around 300 delegates with an agenda which will assess what’s happened in the sector over the last twelve months and where things are going as we look ahead. The sector faces a number of challenges at present; however investor attraction and strong yield returns continue to be strong. For more information on the conference go to www.studenthousing2013.com
Commenting on the event Nick said; “This will be the fourth year we’ve attended this conference and I’m delighted to have been asked to talk this year. Our profile in the sector is very strong, having delivered over 11,000 student beds in the last eight years. We are currently working on student living developments from all of our five UK offices for developers, operators and Universities. The focus of my talk will be on the importance of branding, creating interiors which reflect the actual needs and aspirations of students, and how quality architecture is becoming increasingly essential in the marketplace”.
