Lewis & Hickey have now delivered over 2,000 student beds so far this academic year. This takes the total number of beds we have designed and delivered to over 14,000 with a further 5,000 in the pipeline.
Our ongoing phased student accommodation project for the University of Stirling recently completed its third phase with Beech Court; a complex of 287 beds including 6 studios in the parkland surrounding the University itself.
349 beds have been delivered for Newcastle University at Kensington and Park Terrace in the heart of the campus and overlooking Newcastle’s Exhibition Park.
Our development at Crown Place was successfully completed for the University of Liverpool giving 1259 beds for students on the corner of Brownlow Hill and Grove Street. Reinstating the original street pattern, the buildings are arranged to create shared surface streets and south facing courtyards opening onto a new public space leading into the heart of the campus.
Lastly, our ongoing relationship with Liberty Living will see us deliver 312 fully re-furnished beds in Manchester at Sir Charles Groves Hall.
This sector continues to be a strong workstream for the practice and our ongoing relationships with clients such as Stirling University, Uliving and Bouygues UK, along with new clients and projects, will see us deliver further beds around the UK for the coming academic years.
